Drugstore Dupe for the Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer

Hello concealer lovers!

I purchased the Urban Decay Naked Skin concealer in Light Warm back in November and I used it every single day up until mid-February. I really liked it because of the full coverage effect and skin-like finish. The concealer creased a bit only after a long day of wearing it.  Ya girl didn’t want to break the bank by purchasing another one, they are $34 CAD, so… I looked for a dupe.

I was successful in finding a drugstore dupe! Maybelline’s Better Skin Concealer in Ivory reminds me a lot of the Urban Decay Naked Skin formula, although the colour Ivory is not a colour dupe for the Light Warm shade by Urban Decay (I’m thinking Ivory would match the Fair Neutral shade). The names are quite similar, so it is very possible that it was an intentional dupe (depending on the launch date of both of the concealers which I am not sure of tbh.)

The Maybelline Better Skin Concealer is creamy and more-so medium coverage. It is also comparable to the Urban Decay Naked Skin Foundation in shade 2 in terms of coverage and finish. I noticed minimal creasing when I used the concealer without setting it, so I have high hopes for when I use my usual setting powder! I noticed my dark under-eye circles were decently covered. In comparison, the only concealer that fully covers my dark under-eye circle is the Kat Von D Concealer (but I will save that review for another post).

Overall, I think the Maybelline’s Better Skin Concealer is a great dupe for the Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer even though is it not as full coverage as the Better Skin Concealer. It is a great steal because it was about $8 CAD.

These are not my pictures, I was too lazy to take my own to post them.

Happy splurging or saving… depending on whatever you want to try next!! ❤
